About Solar Panel Repair Gilbert

Solar Panel Repair Gilbert works on rooftop solar systems that are already on the house. We do not sell new systems, financing or leases. Our work starts where the installer's work ended: a system that produces less than it should, an inverter showing a fault, panels that need to come off for a new roof, pigeons nesting under the array, a leak at a roof mount, or a layer of dust after a monsoon storm.

Orphaned systems are a big part of this work. The company that sold the panels may have closed, stopped answering, or only wants to sell a new system. We look at the equipment that is actually on your roof, read the monitoring data if there is any, and tell you in writing what we found.

How a job runs

• Diagnose first. We check the inverter, the strings or microinverters, the wiring, the mounts and the roof around them before we suggest a part.
• Price it plainly. Parts, labor, roof work and paperwork appear as separate lines on the estimate.
• Handle the paperwork. When a repair changes equipment, we check with the Town of Gilbert or the county about permits and inspections, and with your utility about any change request.
• Show the result. After the work, we walk you through the inverter display or monitoring app so you can see production for yourself.

What we leave to others

If the roof under the array needs full replacement, a roofer does that part; we handle the panels before and after. Main panel upgrades and service changes that go beyond the solar system are electrical work we will describe and leave to the right trade. If a repair costs more than the system is worth to you, we say so.
